Events After Dark produces seasonal immersive events, including large-scale Halloween and haunted house experiences.

Each season, we look for energetic, reliable and creative people to join our team across a range of event roles, including:

  • Haunt Attendants / Scarers

  • Back of House Crew

  • Bump In and Bump Out Crew

  • Production Crew

  • Costume, Makeup and Wardrobe Support

  • Prop, Scenic and Build Support

We are always interested in hearing from people who love immersive events, enjoy working as part of a team, and are comfortable in fast-paced live event environments.

FAQs

  • We recruit for a variety of seasonal positions, including:

    • Haunt Attendants (Scarers)

  • Not necessarily. We welcome both experienced performers and enthusiastic newcomers. Reliability, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn are often just as important as previous experience.

  • Applicants must be 18 years or older. 

  • Yes. We encourage applicants to indicate all roles they may be interested in.

  • No. Costumes are supplied by Events After Dark. Some performers may be asked to provide basic black clothing or footwear.

  • Due to the volume of applications received, responses may take some time. Successful applicants will be contacted as positions become available and staffing requirements are confirmed.
